How do I create an organization account?

Please follow the steps below:

    1. Sign up for Garuda Plex.
    2. Verify your email address in a verification email sent to your mail inbox.
    3. Complete the form on the Sign Up page to create your organization account.
      1. Use unique username and password.
      2. Use personal company email.

How do I add new users to my company account?
    1. Click Manage My Company after logging in to Garuda Plex.

  1. In Company Users section, click on the + NEW USER button.
  2. Fill in all the required fields on the form and click SUBMIT. You can set user as an admin by checking the option ‘Set the user as company admin’. add_user_2
  3. New user is showed in the Company Users section. 



How do I remove users from my company account?
    1. Click Manage My Company after logging in to Garuda Plex.
    2. Click on a user that you wish to remove in the Company Users section.
    3. Click Delete and confirm to remove the selected user. 


How do I restore deleted users?
    1. Click Manage My Company after logging in to Garuda Plex.
    2. Click View Deleted Users in the Company Users section.
    3. Click blue restore button to view the information of the user. 
    4. Click Restore and the user will appear in the Company User list. 


I forgot my username.
    1. Click on Reset your password on the login page.
    2. Enter your email address and click SUBMIT.
    3. Your username will be emailed to you together with a link to reset your password. If you do not wish to change your password, you can disregard the link.


I forgot my password.
    1. Click on Reset your password on the login page.
    2. Enter your email address and click SUBMIT.
    3. A password reset link will be sent to you in an email. Please follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.


What can I do to protect my Garuda Plex account?
    1. Use a strong password with a combination of letters, numerals, and special characters.
    2. Do not share your login details with anyone.
    3. Change your password regularly.
    4. Log out after using Garuda Plex on shared devices to prevent others from gaining access to your account.
Why do I have to enter my credit card details when I sign up for a trial account?

We require a valid payment method to begin your trial offer. This allows seamless payment processing when you decide to remain on Garuda Plex Lite or upgrade to Garuda Plex Pro after the trial period ends.

Your credit card will not be charged if you terminate your subscription before the trial period ends.

How do I change my subscription plan?

You can change your Garuda Plex subscription plan from Garuda Plex Lite to Garuda Plex Pro (and vice versa) at any time:

    1. In Manage my company, select Account.
    2. Click Change Plan to select a plan that you would like to subscribe. Select a plan (e.g. SGD588/year) and agree with the terms and conditions before you submit.  
    3. You can also view your transaction history in Account.

A subscription plan change from Garuda Plex Lite to Garuda Plex Pro will take effect immediately.
A subscription plan change from Garuda Plex Pro to Garuda Plex Lite will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

How do I update my billing information?
    1. In Manage my company, select Account.
    2. For non-subscribers, you can click Add Credit Card to add your payment information.  
    3. For existing Garuda Plex subscribers, click Change Credit Card to change your payment information. 
    4. Enter your new billing information and click “SUBMIT“.


Why was my payment declined?

If your card payment was declined, please check that:

  1. You have sufficient funds in the bank account linked to your credit/debit card.
  2. You have entered your credit/debit card number and CVV/CVC code correctly.
  3. Your credit/debit card is enabled for online transactions.
  4. Your credit/debit card is active and not expired.

Project Planning 

How do I plan a drone operation using Garuda Plex?

Garuda Plex provides a holistic project planning tool for any of your drone operation. You can plan it by following the steps:

  1. Click Project > New Project > + Empty Project
  2. Fill in the required fields and choose a project type. 
  3. Click Create Project after that.
  4. Create your Target, Obstacle and Note in the area of interest. All features are auto-saved.
How do I edit my projects?

You can make changes to your saved projects at any point in time:

  1. In Project, select a project and click Edit and Edit Project Summary. 
  2. You can edit the details of your project. Click Update Project when you are done editing. 
  3. To edit/add targets, obstacles and notes in the project, click Planner.
  4. To add Target/Obstacle/Note/Map Layer/GCP, click one of the icon. All features are auto-saved.  To edit the title and description of the existing targets/obstacles/notes, select it on the right navigation bar. 

Drone Deployment

How do I set up drone operation?
  1. Click the Airplane logo on the top right corner to access Drone Operations. You will see 5 main objects (Drones, Batteries, Cameras, Deployments and Pilots/Flights). We recommend you to set up each object by adding any available information that you have before flying. 
  2. Click Drones then + New Drone to register your drone into the Garuda Plex. Fill in the details and click Submit.
  3. Click Batteries + New Battery to register your battery into the Garuda Plex. Fill in the details and click Submit
  4. Click Cameras + New Camera to register your camera into the Garuda Plex. Fill in the details and click Submit
How do I set up deployment after the project planning is done?

After planning a project, the next step will be setting up deployment.

  1. On the top right corner of Garuda Plex, click the Airplane icon.
  2. Click Deployments, then +Deployment Plan.
  3. . Follow the step to plan a deployment. 
  4. The following deployment details will be showed. You can
    1. Add/Edit Flight Plan
    2. Edit Deployment
    3. Assess Risk
    4. Buy Insurance
    5. Apply Permit
    6. Update Status
    7. Download Target Polygon (for flight path planning)
  5. The deployment will be showed in the drone operation dashboard. We suggest that you update the status of deployment after each flight.
  6. You can upload the flight record of each pilot in the Pilots session after each flight.
How do I record a flight?

After completing a flight, we recommend you to record your flight history.

  1. In Drone Operations, click + Flight Record.
  2. Fill in the details, upload flight log if possible and submit. 

Asset Management

How do I upload the images after a drone operation?

After a drone operation, you can upload all the images captured by drone to the Library in Garuda Plex. There are three ways to upload images. Follow the steps to upload your images:

a) From ‘Dashboard     

b) From ‘Project’ 

c) From ‘Library’

  1. Click Upload.
  2. Choose a project and then create an album.
  3. Drag and drop image files from folder / click Choose Files to select the images
  4. Start Upload, then Close after the upload is completed.
  5. The uploaded images will show in Grid View. 
How do I annotate images?

Garuda Plex – Library provides a complete annotation tool for you to label and describe particular features in images captured by drone. To annotate an image:

  1. Select one photo in Grid View or Large Grid.
  2. Draw polygon on area of interest and annotate it with text by selecting the ‘Pen’ icon. 
  3. Edit or delete the annotation by clicking Show Panel on the right side of screen.
  4. Save the annotation after editing. 
How can I process images captured by drones in Garuda Plex?
  1. Upload all the images to respectively projects.
    • We suggest that you upload one set of images at a time because uploading multiple sets of images from multiple tabs on the same computer may cause errors in Garuda Plex.
  2. Please upload images with the following requirements:
    i. JPG format
    ii. Geotagged (images with latitude, longitude and altitude)
    iii. Contain area of interest in a nadir view
    iv. Significant overlap and sidelap (at least 70%)
    v. At least 20 images
  3. Make a request to process your datasets to orthomosaic/3D models/3D map etc. Once your data is processed, you are able to share, export, annotate and analyse.

Drone Regulations

Do I need a permit to fly a drone?

Depending on your location, the local civil aviation authorities may already have regulations in place governing the use of drones. You should be aware of and comply with all applicable local regulations. Please check with your local civil aviation authorities to obtain a copy of the latest drone regulations.

Will Garuda Robotics disclose my personal information?

Garuda Robotics will not disclose your Personal Information (including personally identifiable information, vehicle and flight information) that we collect on the Service to third parties without your consent. We may disclose information to third parties if you consent to us doing so, as well as in the following circumstances:

  • when you agree to our sharing your information with other third parties for their own marketing purposes subject to their separate privacy policies;
  • with third party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who work for Garuda Robotics and need access to your information to do that work;
  • to (i) comply with laws or to respond to lawful requests and legal process, (ii) to protect the rights and property of Garuda Robotics, our agents, customers, and others including to enforce our agreements, policies, and terms of use or (iii) in an emergency to protect the personal safety of Garuda Robotics, its customers, or any person;
  • in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets to another company.
